This is the second part of the dynamic tables article.

I will assume you covered part 1. You can find it here:

There we saw how a compare table can have dynamic groups and be used to power charts.

Now I will cover a more advanced use case that I have had to face a couple of times before. In pt. 1, we used a compare table in Compact Mode but what would happen if, for some reason, you have a Compare Table that’s powered by SAQL instead? How would the dynamic groups work? What if you’d like to control not just the groups but also the measures and order?

I will answer those questions and more next.

For this example I will be using the same dataset and XMD we used in part 1.
